BATON ROUGE, La., November 29, 2010—MAPP Construction, LLC started a $9.690 million project for the expansion and renovation at LaPlace Elementary School. Holly & Smith Architects are the Architect of Record for this project. The scope of the project includes a new 54,982 square feet two-story school which will include new classrooms, a new cafeteria and a new kitchen. Construction started this past November and an aggressive schedule predicts completion in August 2011.
