MAPP Promotes Project Executive, Eileen Long, to Director of Operations

Baton Rouge, Louisiana (March 2, 2014)—MAPP Construction announced today the promotion of Eileen Long to Director of Operations for the Louisiana Division, working in both the Baton Rouge and New Orleans offices. Eileen was formerly a project executive in the same division.

"Eileen has spent the last eleven months of her beginnings at MAPP learning the organization, the people, its systems and processes. With this background and her many years in the industry I anticipate that she will take the operations of the group to levels that we must obtain and maintain to continue growth in our markets,” said Mike Polito, President and CEO of MAPP Construction.

Eileen is a 20 + year construction professional who has worked in various roles inclusive of Executive Oversight for projects ranging from the Post Katrina renovation of the Louisiana Superdome to the Renovation and Expansion of Ochsner Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to joining MAPP, Eileen served as Vice President of Project Management for Broadmoor, LLC. Eileen’s architectural background allows her to bring state of the industry design principals into construction practice.
Eileen received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Architecture from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Eileen currently resides in New Orleans with her husband and children.
