MAPP built a new multi-use readiness facility at Camp Beauregard, supporting hundreds of personnel daily with training, dining, and secure storage space.
MAPP was awarded construction of the new Readiness Center, Building 801, at Camp Beauregard, a single-story training facility certified LEED Silver and divided into two training centers occupied by the onsite Military Police and Engineering Battalion Detachment. The facility contains training classrooms and a joint full-service cafeteria and kitchen designed to serve 800 to 1,000 personnel per day, along with separate munitions (gun) vaults and equipment lockers.
The Training Center was constructed on a pile-supported foundation with a steel structure and acoustical metal panels. The main training center building is approximately 43,000 square feet, with an additional 8,000-square-foot Truck Maintenance Facility rounding out the complex. The Readiness Center also includes a 30-foot by 150-foot solar array yard, designed to handle the electrical load of 70% of the building's interior LED lighting.
