Dresser Rand Corporation has awarded MAPP Construction, LLC. the Design Build Construction of the new Baton Rouge Service Center. Dresser Rand, a 100 year old Fortune 500 Company, based in Houston, Texas will utilize the new facility to service clients within the Gulf South Region. The service center will consist of extensive site work located on a 10 acre greenfield site, a shallow foundation package, a +/- 8,000 square foot Class “B” office space and 50,000 square foot repair and maintenance shop with 28’ high bay space, a single (5) five ton girder crane, (2) ten ton girder cranes and a single (20) twenty ton double girder crane with a (5) five ton auxiliary hook. The shop will be a conditioned space and will include a single dock height loading bay for both shipping and receiving activities.
