MAPP completed select demolition and an interior build-out of the 1st and 2nd floors of the former Louisiana Heart Hospital, converting private patient rooms into outpatient therapy and clinic spaces.
The project involved select demolition and an interior build-out that converted former private patient rooms into outpatient therapy and clinic spaces. The transformation included new architectural woodwork, an acoustical ceiling grid and tiles, and resilient flooring throughout the renovated floors. MAPP also modified and upgraded the HVAC system and made corresponding modifications to the fire suppression system to support the building's new use. The completed clinic gave Select Medical a modern, purpose-built outpatient therapy facility within a building that once served a very different clinical purpose, reflecting MAPP's ability to adapt existing healthcare infrastructure for new needs.
