Hornbeck Offshore

The MAPP EDR Design Build Team worked together with the client to create a vision for the complete interior renovation for Hornbeck Offshore’s existing (3) three story 60,000 square foot Corporate Office Building located in Covington, Louisiana. From the start of discussions and planning with the client, MAPP and EDR understood how important it was to tell the story and history of this family owned company. The project includes DIRTT on all three floors of the building in which writable surfaces and technology walls have been incorporated. A custom monumental staircase fabricated out of red iron inclusive of reclaimed maple treads was constructed in the main lobby and extends through the center of the building up to the 3rd floor Executive Office area. The stairwell includes a mission wall which states Hornbecks Mission Statement and is highlighted by a Museum Wall which displays the History and Vessels of the company. A training center complete with a food service area for current and potential employees is located on the first floor.
