MAPP transformed a former Bank of America branch into a fully functional LCMC medical clinic, taking the space down to its shell before rebuilding it into a modern healthcare facility.

MAPP transformed a former Bank of America branch into a fully functional medical clinic, requiring a complete architectural and MEP demolition before rebuild could begin. Existing ACT ceilings, flooring, millwork, teller safety glass, and partition walls were removed, along with air handlers, condensers, ductwork, plumbing, lighting, and power systems, clearing the space down to its shell for reconfiguration.

Extensive hazardous material abatement, governed by Louisiana DEQ, was required throughout the demolition process given the building's age and prior use. Concrete slab work included demolition to tie in new sanitary sewer lines and pour-back for plumbing trenches, while the majority of the sprinkler system was reworked to bring it up to current code. A new domestic water backflow preventer was installed alongside new walls, ceilings, doors, and hardware. Exam rooms and nurse call stations were finished with new millwork and solid surfaces, and new special systems, including data, fire alarm, and nurse call, were integrated throughout the space. This transformation created a fully functional, modern healthcare facility, enhancing both patient care and operational efficiency.
