The 144,547-square-foot Interdisciplinary Science Building at LSU is a hub for innovation, designed to foster cross-disciplinary research and learning. The building includes state-of-the-art research labs, classrooms, and collaboration spaces. Built with a steel frame and supported by auger cast piles, the structure incorporates sustainable design elements like SBS roofing and precast concrete. MAPP’s preconstruction services played a key role in ensuring the project stayed on track, including continuous design coordination, cost modeling, and detailed schedule management. This project reflects LSU’s commitment to advancing research, offering modern spaces where students and faculty can push the boundaries of knowledge.
