Mercy Regional Hospital MRI Expansion

MAPP worked with HMK Architects and Lifepoint Health through design and preconstruction to deliver the new MRI Expansion and Remodel for Mercy Regional Medical Center. The project touched nearly every building system, beginning with site improvements, utility relocations, and new concrete slabs, foundations, and roof deck. Above ground, the project brought together brick veneer, metal stud and wood framing, architectural woodwork and casework, and an adhered EPDM roofing system, along with steel and wood doors and drywall throughout the space. Interior finishes and radiation protection completed the build-out, ensuring the expanded space met the specialized requirements of an MRI facility. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems were integrated throughout, giving Mercy Regional Medical Center a fully modernized MRI facility built to support advanced diagnostic imaging for years to come.
