The Owens Biosciences, Inc. headquarters and laboratory expansion includes modifications and renovations to the existing 15,000-square-foot facility and the expansion of approximately 4,000 square feet of laboratory and production space. The new building consists of a single-story pre-engineered metal building constructed slab on grade, inclusive of approximately 25 tons of HVAC added to the facility necessary to control approximately seven fume hoods. The new Laboratory Space will include new LED lighting, two new 2-hour fire-rated walls, sealed epoxy-coated concrete floors, lab casework, and associated building controls. This peptide production facility will create a state-of-the-art skincare research and production facility in Louisiana.
